You know that nutrition is very important if you want to lose fat and transform your body. The question is how do you know what foods to eat and what to avoid.

Once I cracked the fat loss nutrition code, I lost 35 pounds in 14 weeks and melted the fat away.

Here’s the deal.

You don’t need to get a PhD in nutrition to lose fat. You just need to understand and apply the basics. Remember, its about setting up a solid foundation before you kick things into overdrive.

Here’ what you need to know.

PFC is Key

PFC stands for Protein, Fats, and Carbs. Your body primarily relies on these three macronutrients for energy, survival, growth, etc.

For best transformation results your diet should consist of lean protein, good fats, and slow-digesting (low-glycemic) carbs.

Protein Sources

  • Chicken breast
  • Turkey
  • Fish
  • Eggs
  • Beans
  • Nuts

Fat Sources

  • Nuts
  • Egg Yolk
  • Fatty Fish
  • Avocado
  • Olive Oil
  • Almond Butter

Carb Sources

  • Sweet potatoes
  • Lentils
  • Beans
  • Oatmeal
  • Brown rice

Watch Your Sugar Intake

There’s ample amounts of scientific evidence that proves that excess sugar consumption will destroy your health.  It’s also a key reason for the rising obesity epidemic and health care cost.

Excess sugar consumption will cause your body to store fat and essentially stop the fat burning process. Therefore, you’ll need to cut down your sugar intake dramatically if you want to lose fat and transform your body.

Here’ how you can cut down your sugar intake.

  • No sugary drinks like Coca-Cola or juices. Not even energy drinks.
  • Avoid processed food at all cost. It’s loaded with sugar and provides little to no nutritional value. Learn how to read labels.
  • Avoid going into starvation mode by eating throughout the day. You’re prone to consume a lot of sugar when you’re starving.

Stay Away From Trans-Fatty Acids

Trans fats were engineered in science labs to give food longer shelf life and hence deepening the pockets of food companies. The negative effects of trans fats are well documented the least of which is weight gain.

So, is it ok to eat a bag of chips with 0 trans-fat?

First off, the bag of chips is loaded with sugar. Secondly, FDA allows the “0 Trans Fat” label on anything with 0.5 grams of trans fat per serving.

The key word here is per serving not the whole bag. It adds up quickly.

It’s About Making it STICK

Yo-Yo dieting seems to be the norm these days. It’s only helping the bank accounts of companies offering the latest diets.

Your focus needs to be on making these lifestyle changes STICK especially when it comes to your nutrition. You might lose 20 pounds on some fad diet but chances are high that you’ll gain back 40 once you’re off the diet.

You see, its not just about losing the weight but also keeping it off. The only way you can do that is if you’re consistent and stick with your new lifestyle.

Applying just these 4 simple principles will help you get noticeable results fast. Don’t take my word for it. Test it out for yourself.
